We would like to invite the ‘Data Protection Officers’ (“DPOs”) working for our Members to a video call on Tuesday 12 September 2023 at 10.30am (Gibraltar Local Time) to:
consider and discuss the latest on ‘Project Red Card’ as a group, and to identify and agree on any ‘next steps’;
have a group discussion on the possibility of producing a ‘Data Protection Impact Assessment’ template for the remote gambling industry in association with an appropriate third party, and to agree on any ‘next steps’ as required; and
have a group discussion on the possibility of setting up an event for DPOs in our industry, and as a group identify and agree when to hold the event, where, and what the content of the event would be.
Should all or any of the DPOs:
believe that (an)other certain colleague(s) in their organisation should also join this video call, please feel free to forward them this invite; and / or
wish to know any more about this video call before agreeing to join and / or forwarding to colleagues, please feel free to contact us to discuss.
We kindly ask that those joining the call RSVP by ‘close of business’ Thursday 7 September 2023, and, on Friday 8 September 2023, we shall include your email in a Teams Meeting invite for the call on Tuesday 12 September 2023, where you will be able to log in on the day. We will be providing the agenda for the day in the same invitation closer to the date.
